A bit about diving:
We’ll be diving on the Hardboat Venture which is a good boat with a lift and more importantly a friendly and knowledgeable skipper!
The boat will launch from Mountbatten which is a short drive from the BnB.
We will be running the Wreck Speciality Course on this trip (more details to follow) and this means we’ll be diving the famous wrecks of the James Eagan Layne and the Scylla. The former was a casualty of WW2 whilst the Scylla was sunk about 6 years ago for divers. Both wrecks are huge and atmospheric and perfect wrecks upon which to the speciality course.
This trip is perfect for those who are wanting to try UK diving for the first time as well as anyone just wanting to get back into the water after the winter break.
Courses:
Wreck Course: The wreck course consists of 4 dives. You’ll learn about wreck conditions and hazards and useful skills like lining off. The course will end with a full wreck penetration into the Scylla using reels. Cost: £119 ( A saving of £80 on the standard course price!).
Advanced Course: For anyone interested we’ll be able to finish the Advanced Course here. For this option you’ll need to join us at an inland site for one day prior to get the shallow water skills done first: Cost: £259
These costs include all equipment and books but not air fills. For more information contact the shop.

SMB and reel
