We are thrilled you are thinking of learning to scuba dive. Over 70% of the earth's surface is covered by water, and it is a wondrous underwater world, full of sights you would never have the privilege of seeing unless you ducked under that glassy surface.

Learning to scuba dive is a great experience and at Diving Leisure London we ensure it is one you will cherish. If you are new to scuba diving, there are a few ways you can start.

  • Discover Scuba Diving. This is a great little taster session which allows you to see if scuba diving is the thing for you. We'll give you an overview of scuba equipment and the basics of scuba diving, and then you'll get to try it for yourself!
  • Open Water Referral Course. This option is ideal for those that would like to complete their qualifying dives abroad while on holiday, but get the course work and pool training out of the way before holiday. This means you don't have to spend your precious time in holiday in a classroom!
  • Open Water Course. This is a full course that runs over two weekends, at the end of which, you will be qualified to dive to 18m, with a buddy and your certification will be recognised world-wide.

Click on the links above for more information on these courses and to book on. If you have any questions about learning to dive then please contact us at the shop and we'll be happy to help. Also you can read our list of frequently asked questions.
