Change your life and become a PADI Diving Instructor! The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the full instructor course that prepares you to become a professional diving instructor. The course consists of the Assistant Instructor and the Open Water Scuba Instructor

Course packages

All courses include training, equipment use and certification. Click on an option below to see details:

The standard IDC. This usually takes 8 days to complete with an additional day to complete the Emergency First Response Instructor course.

The standard course done as a one on one. The course can often be completed in about 7 days. If you are interested in doing this then please contact the shop for dates.

Course prerequisites

The course is usually broken up into two parts run over long weekends: the AI and OWSI sections. For more information on these then please see the individual courses.

 

The IDC is loads of fun and at DLL we've had a 100% pass rate since the shop changed hands 5 years ago!
