PLAYING WITH SEALS AT THE FARNE ISLANDS

Well, what can I say, that has to be one of the best weeks of UK diving ever. This is the kind of diving that you wish you could get all those warm water divers to experience because you know it will blow away all preconceptions and negative conceptions about diving in this country.
 
Cold and dark? No, the water was between 13-14 deg and in our drysuits everyone was absolutely fine. But more importantly the visibility was incredible. The water was clear and on one dive we could still see the surface from 17m.

David Bowie and the young American investigate a Maltese wreck

Wow. What a trip. That has to be the biggest trip we’ve ever run at DLL. We had about 25 divers (give or take..) doing nitrox courses, wreck courses, tec courses and of course just fun diving in some of the best sites out in Malta.
 

Diving in the Serpentine

Well, it’s been a funny couple of weeks in the shop. We just got back from a fantastic trip down to Weymouth where we were very lucky with the conditions both top side and under the water . We got to dive the M2 an amazing 1st WW submarine wreck that sits perfectly upright and intact on the sea bed and then followed it up by diving the Sidon a 2nd WW submarine also in great condition.
