The west coast has a thriving marine ecosystem with many marine national parks. These waters harbour the inquisitive seals which entertain themselves by tugging at our fins, or by nosing the masks of the mysterious divers who emit no bubbles on rebreathers. The awesome kelp forests provide refuge for a diverse range of marine creatures. From several species of echinoderms, nudibranchs and flat worms, to cuttlefish and lobsters there is no shortage of marine life. We may also see basking sharks and sunfish which is always a highlight on a trip.
To keep in touch with each other, we meet at the Eagle Pub in Chatham Lane on the first Tuesday of every month. With the ever growing club, the night regularly attracts between 50 to 150 thirsty divers. A run down of the months events are shared and achievements rewarded and plenty of drinking and laughing is had by all. Being non-denominational we welcome everyone to join us, whether you are certified by NAUI, BSAC, TDI. As long as you enjoy diving and partying, you’re welcome! In fact, you don’t even have to dive. Just come along!
Club Membership benefits you by ensuring you are the first to know about upcoming trips. You are kept in the loop in regard to events diving and otherwise. Whether we are going paint balling, skiing, or mountain biking, you will be the first to know. All trips are non-profitable and are an excuse to get us together to have some fun.
You also benefit by having discounted prices on equipment hire and some purchases.
